Oh Christmas Day! Christmas is definitely one of my favorite holidays of the year. I just love the happy feeling, the creative decorations, the food, to visit our family and friends and most of all, to see the happy faces of my nephews receiving a gift from “Santa Claus”, same as the one I had when I was a child, except that in my case in the beginning I was confuse about who Santa Claus was, you see… at first I tough that God and Santa were the same.
I was born in Puerto Rico, we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day, and in January 6th, we exchange gifts as part of the Three Kings Day or Wise Men Celebration. Now, to celebrate Christmas, I got the opportunity to create something simple for my nephew. My bother-in-law text me a picture of their Christmas tree, in order for me to turn it into a cool surprise for my nephew for when we wakes up at Christmas day.
He gave me this idea to do in Photoshop composition of Santa Claus baring gifts under the tree, so that on Christmas morning when my nephew wakes up, he can show him the picture on his cellphone that he caught Santa Claus. I thought it was a great idea, so I started to do it as soon as possible and send the photo back to him.
He definitely loves it. Can’t wait to see my nephew’s face when he sees the photo on Christmas morning. Maybe this is something I can do for the next year. I am pretty sure that many families would like a little of that Christmas’s magic for their children on Christmas’s eve.
